The "Fine Print"
- Reserving Studio Time
Reservation of studio time will be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to one-half of
the estimated studio charges for the project, or receipt of a Purchase Order
(PO) from a major corporation or record label. The studio has a minimum booking
of 2 hours.
- Recording Day
Billing of studio time begins at the exact time booked, regardless of late
arrival. Overtime (if available) is at the same hourly rate and is due and
payable at the end of each session.
- Cancellations
Cancellation or rescheduling of block bookings must occur at least 3 (three)
days in advance of the first session start time or client will be charged 50%
of the scheduled time. All other studio time must be cancelled 24 hours in
advance of the session start time or client will be charged for time booked.
Dancing Bears Productions has the right to retain all deposits if studio time
is not cancelled within the timeframe stated above. Studio time that is “on-hold”
will only be held for 48 hours.
Dancing Bears Productions will also charge clients for all expenses incurred
in preparation for session prior to receipt of notice of cancellation. Payment
for rentals will be the client’s responsibility. Upon request, free studio
time (30 minutes max) will be allowed for load-in.
- Project Storage
Projects may be stored by Dancing Bear Productions for a period of 30 (thirty)
days after completion of project. Client must remove project from studio
within 5 days after this period or pay storage fees. Shipping charges are
billed at cost, plus a nominal fee for packing. All media left on property
will be the responsibility of the client.
- Payment
Dancing Bears Productions accepts cash, cashier’s checks, money orders, Visa,
and Mastercard as forms of payment. A valid driver’s license is required for
all payment transactions. Payment is due upon completion of each session
unless a) a PO has been issued by a major corporation or record label, or b)
unless prior arrangements have been made. No project in any form will be
released without payment in full or confirmation of receipt of funds.
